RCF 4 PRO at Manila Music Festival
More than 100 bands rocked at the new SM Mall of Asia at the recent Fete de la Musique Festival, in Manila, Philippines as part of ‘French Spring in Manila’ celebration. The festival, which was held at the SM Mall of ASIA for the first time, was divided into 4 stages, playing various genres from rock, heavy metal, indie & pop and ran from mid afternoon of the Saturday to the break of dawn of Sunday. Sound reinforcement for the 4 stages was supplied by local hire company Stage Pro sound & lights, owned and operated by Ronnie Osabel, whose says his ideal sound system is “One that goes up fast, needs little or no tweaking, offers many years of service and pleases the ears of sound techs of bands & singers and with RCF’s 4PRO system, we’ve found it” Stage Pro had recently taken delivery of the 4PRO-6001 Powered 3-way Speakers, 4PRO-3002SMA powered wedge monitors, ART 322A & ART 315A. Their plan is to build a premier system which offers a totally “powered” concept. Ronnie explained “At the Fete de la Musique Festival, we used 8 RCF 4PRO 6001s for FOH duties, 4PRO-3002SMA powered wedge monitors for the front wedges and an ART 315A for the Drum fill”. The system ran from 10a.m on Saturday to 5 a.m. on Sunday without missing a beat.
